Did You Know?

Bee Propolis contains antioxidants called flavonoids. These flavonoids are a group of plant metabolites proven to provide long term health benefits through cell signalling pathways and antioxidant effects. Flavonoids are one of the active ingredients within propolis.

Not only does propolis provide great stability to the beehive, but it also acts as a barrier from bacteria and diseases as well as parasites. As well as being a strong barrier, it is also strong enough to reinforce the structure of the hive and reduce vibrations.

Propolis actually dates back to the ancient Roman and Greek times and during these times, it was actually the most common medicinal solution for preventing throat and mouth infections. It is still used today as a natural solution to throat and mouth infections.
